emPowering Youth, The Texan Way
Youth Power provides social and educational enrichment activities to high school students attending the following Fair Park-area high schools: Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School, James Madison, Lincoln, North Dallas, and Woodrow Wilson High Schools. Students will participate in workshops and activities that address conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving. By introducing students to various career opportunities and enhancing their social skills, Youth Power will help prepare them for life after high school.
Our mission is to emPower youth to know what to say, how to make good choices, and how to respond in the face of adversity.
