IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE 2020 STATE FAIR OF TEXAS LIVESTOCK SHOW
UPDATES TO FOLLOW
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the State Fair of Texas will not open for the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns. This has been a difficult decision to make but we know it’s the right one for everyone involved and the greater community during this unprecedented pandemic.
In addition to maintaining our nonprofit initiatives, we commit to providing youth livestock participation opportunities, while still maintaining a safe environment for exhibitors. We are happy to share with you a revised schedule of events related to livestock market shows we are offering for 2020. Barring any orders are in place by local, state, or federal agencies regarding health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, the State Fair of Texas plans to move forward with the following schedule to support Texas youth, while implementing all preventive measures recommended by the CDC and other relevant government and health agencies.
