Briscoe Carpenter Livestock Center

At last, a new home for a legacy as big as Texas.

Opened in 2017, the Briscoe Carpenter Livestock Center is a new 55,000-square-foot facility that supports year-round activities in Fair Park and meets the growing needs of the State Fair’s agriculture education and community relations programs.

About the Center

The multipurpose facility, owned by the City of Dallas an managed by Fair Park Administration, attracts shows, meetings, events, and conventions to the City and Fair Park throughout the year. It will also serve to broaden the scope of livestock, agriculture, education, and community activities not only during the Fair’s annual exposition, but year round.

With the goal of facilitating the expansion of agriculture education within the urban environment, the new facility provides more opportunities for for hardworking 4-H, FFA, and FCCLA students from around the Lone Star State to learn and collaborate in one central location.

The building facilities are also available for concerts, lectures, meetings, special events, and trade shows.
