Last year’s State Fair of Texas saw Big Tex return to his welcoming post, new fried foods like Fried Thanksgiving Dinner and Deep Fried Cuban Rolls, great shows, fun on the State Fair Midway and more.
Over in livestock, the grand champion steer, aptly named Corndog, sold for a record $110,000 and almost 195,000 pounds of canned foods were collected and donated to the North Texas Food Bank.
