The State Fair of Texas presents the 2019 Lone Star Music Series, offering FREE daily live music by Texas musicians on four stages across the fairgrounds. In addition to headlining concerts on the Chevrolet Main Stage, enjoy local acts from the DFW area every day of the Fair on the Bud Light Stage, Coca-Cola Stage, Dr Pepper Stage, and Texas Monthly Stage.
Fairgoers can see more than 45 different musical acts representing a wide variety of genres during this year’s 24-day run, all included in the price of admission. With genres ranging from rock & roll to country and jazz to R&B, this year’s Lone Star Music Series offers something for everyone. Listed below are the 2019 show schedules for each stage.
2019 Bud Light Stage
Centrally located in Cotton Bowl Plaza, the Bud Light Stage features 24 days of music by 24 different local artists, some of whom have even been spotlighted in major publications like Rolling Stone. Daily performance times on the Dr Pepper Stage at 12:30, 3:00, 5:30, and 8:00 p.m.
Wild Ride at the Granada
Join us for a sneak preview of three Bud Light Stage acts on Friday, August 23 at the Granada Theater in Dallas. Hosted in partnership with Dallas-based State Fair Records, the event will serve as a dual-album release show featuring Ottoman Turks and The 40 Acre Mule, with a special appearance by Squeezebox Bandits. Tickets for “Wild Ride at the Granada” begin at $8 and a portion of the proceeds benefit the State Fair’s Big Tex Scholarship Program, which provides college scholarships to students throughout the Lone Star State. 2019 Coca-Cola Stage
Nestled in the heart of the Midway, the Coca-Cola Stage is perfect for staking out a spot at the picnic benches and relaxing in the shade while you enjoy a family-friendly musical performance. Fort Worth-based, eco-friendly band Vocal Trash will take the stage daily at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 p.m.

2019 Dr Pepper Stage
Find the Dr Pepper Stage on Nimitz Drive beside the Creative Arts building. The stage will host local artists representing a wide variety of genres, from rock and country to jazz music from our nation’s service members in the Marine Corps Jazz Orchestra. Catch one of the daily performances at 11:00 a.m., 1:00, 3:30, 5:00, and 7:00 p.m.

2019 Texas Monthly Stage
Located inside the State Fair of Texas Wine Garden, the Texas Monthly Stage offers a mix of live, local entertainment including musicians, six nights of stand-up comedy featuring multiple comedians each show, and three weekends of jazz artists curated by Uptown Jazz Dallas. Daily performance times vary, with most concerts at 1:30, 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 p.m.; stand-up comedy from 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and harpist from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
