While we have had many fairgoers enjoying the State Fair of Texas today, due to inclement weather this evening, the State Fair of Texas will close operations at 8 p.m., with admissions ending at 7 p.m. The safety of fairgoers and employees is our number one priority. With the strong likelihood of rainy and cold conditions continuing this evening, the Fair will close early as a precaution. Operations will continue as scheduled at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, October 16. Parking lots open at 7 a.m. #BigTex
