State Fair Wine Garden Presented by the Texas Department of Agriculture

The State Fair Wine Garden is a great way to explore the wide variety of wines made right here in the Lone Star State.

Featuring more than 40 Texas wineries over the course of the Fair, there is always a new vintage to try at the State Fair Wine Garden, presented by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Each day, fair attendees over the age of 21 can sample three to four wines from featured Texas wineries. Samples may be purchased by the taste, the glass or the bottle.

Check the Daily Schedule for the most up-to-date information on scheduled tastings and vintner meet and greets.

In addition to its expansive wine selection, the State Fair Wine is also a great place to sit and relax. Nestled in a quaint courtyard under a huge oak tree, between the Food and Fiber Pavilion and the Pan Am Arena, the State Fair Wine Garden is the perfect spot to escape the bustling fairgrounds before your next adventure.

Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) offer live jazz and blues performances on the Texas Department of Agriculture stage. Check the Daily Schedule for performance times.

The State Fair Wine Garden also features a great selection of Texas craft beers.
