Free and just for kids, the State Fair of Texas Kids’ Boardwalk is where the fun begins! Kid-friendly acts include Ronald McDonald, Buford Buzzard, Shorty McKoy – Tiniest Texas Cowboy and Bob Warr’s Magic Chuck Wagon. Free activities include games, arts & crafts and face painting. This outdoor area is located near the Leonhardt Lagoon, conveniently close to the Wild West Pet Palooza and Big Tex’s Farmyard – two other family favorites.
