“Conventional with a kick”
Ingredients
1/2 lb. Jimmy Dean sage sausage
1/2 lb. Jimmy Dean hot sausage
1 stick butter, melted
1 (14-oz.) pkg. cubed country-style bread
32 oz. chicken broth or stock
4 larger stalks celery, diced to 1/4 inch
2 yellow onions, diced to 1/4 inch
1 (8-oz.) can mushrooms, stems and pieces, drained
Directions
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 3-quart casserole dish. In a large skillet over medium-high, brown sausages, drain through a paper towel lined colander. In a large bowl combine the next 6 items, mix well. Transfer to prepared dish and bake for 30 minutes until bubbling.
