Livestock Exhibitor Online Application and Worksheets

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • All exhibitors must electronically complete and sign:
    1: Release of liability and indemnity agreement AND 
    2: W9 that includes a social security number 
    NO EXCEPTIONS 
  • Youth livestock entries must include a current quality counts number. 
  • A mandatory $20 processing fee is required per cart submission. 
    (*do not submit cart until complete; you will be responsible for additional processing fees that result in multiple cart submissions). 
  • Submission of entry application does not guarantee entry acceptance. 

For Ag Teachers & Agents:

Visit livestock.bigtex.com to login to your SFT Portal account. Be sure to update your contact information when prompted. If you are new to your position and your county or chapter is not listed, please email livestock@bigtex.com. DO NOT attempt to create an account. 

All entries must be completed online in addition to hard copy worksheets mailed to the SFT Livestock Office. We strongly encourage exhibitors to take advantage of the parent portal and allow them to submit entries to your queue for approval. Accepting items in your queue moves them to your cart. You must submit your cart/’check out’ to send us your entries. You will receive an order number when you have successfully submitted entries. 

Electonic indemnity and W9 signatures will require parents to log in and complete before entries will be accepted. After parent access ends, AST/CEA will need to create entries for exhibitor before 11:59 P.M. on August 25 to avoid late fees. Parents will be notified via email to collect signatures for entries made by AST/CEA during this time period.
Parent Deadline: 11:59 p.m. August 22, 2023.

Online entry deadline: 11:59PM August 25, 2023 (be sure to approve everything in your queue and check out before!)
Postmark deadline: September 1, 2023.

What to mail:

  • Online entry order summary printout
  • 1 Entry Worksheet per Exhibitor
  • Team Contest Entry Worksheet (if applicable)
  • Form of Payment

Individual contest entries no longer have additional worksheets. Additional contest materials (for Job Interview, Public Speaking, and Science Fair) must be uploaded by 11:59PM August 25, 2023. Review contest rules for full details on upload submissions. 
Only CEA/ASTs may enter team contests; entries for team contests must be submitted online by 11:59PM August 25, 2023.

For Youth Exhibitors & Parents: 

Visit livestock.bigtex.com to login to or create your SFT Parent Portal account. Upon completion of submitting your entries they are directed to your ag teacher or county agent’s queue. 

Your advisor MUST approve your entries. Entry application does not guarantee entry acceptance. Once your advisor has approved your entries in their queue and checked out of their cart we will receive your entry.

Junior rabbit entries are made online on the open show portal. There are no rabbit entry worksheets.

For Open (Pan American) Exhibitors 

ALL ENTRIES WILL BE COMPLETED ENTIRELY ONLINE, including rabbit and poultry entries. There are no 2023 Pan American worksheets. Visit livestock.bigtex.com to log in or create a SFT Portal account. Create exhibitor(s) and entries to place an order and pay online. Review the Exhibitor Handbook (link) for show rules, and class listings. No items need to be mailed to the SFT Livestock Office.
