Little Hands on The Farm
Presented by Ag-Power, Walmart and WFAA-TV.
Kids love this fun and interactive exhibit where they learn how food gets from farm to table. Activities on this miniature farm include planting seeds, gathering eggs and driving a tiny tractor before harvesting crops and taking them to market. With the earnings from sold crops, snacks can be purchased in the General Store. Suitable for toddlers to eight years old. Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. near the Livestock area.

Greenhouse
The state-of-the-art greenhouse features unique landscape creations and attractions like the Texas Garden Railway, as well as entertainment such as the Tree Man Stilt Walker and pumpkin-carving master Farmer Mike. Open 10 a.m to 7 p.m.

Chevrolet Ride and Drive
Drivers, start your engines! Chevrolet, the official vehicle of the State Fair of Texas, gives qualified drivers the chance to get behind the wheel of the most anticipated vehicles of the 2016 line up. Embrace your need for speed and head on over to Chevrolet Park Plaza to test drive the newest makes and models! Open 9 a.m to 7 p.m.

Pig Races
Presented by Renewals by Andersen.
Here they come, snout-to-snout, down the stretch, back by popular demand! The Pan-Am Arena is home to the most-talked-about track in town; the pig races. Dressed in fetching racing silks, the wiggly piglets run the course three times a day. Don’t miss this fan favorite! Shows at 6, 6:45 and 7:45 p.m. in the Pan-American Arena.

Celebrity Chef Kitchen
Presented by Cutco.
For those of you looking for a true culinary experience, the State Fair recommends attending one of its daily Celebrity Chef demos, where popular chefs from some of Texas’ most prominent restaurants show off their skills in the Creative Arts Building. Chefs prepare a signature dish, share tips and answer audience questions, also giving audience members a chance to sample their culinary creations at the end of each demonstration. With four to five demonstrations from different chefs every day, fairgoers get to explore the diverse culinary establishments available in our local landscape. See the daily calendar for specific times.
