Mattress Firm Illumination Sensation
Presented by Mattress Firm.
Experience the nightly celebration – completely remastered! Set along a scenic reflecting pool, Mattress Firm Illumination Sensation wows the crowd with dancing waters and liquid fire. A unique and breathtaking event, the show combines fireworks and high-energy pop music with engaging performances from dancers and acrobats. This sensational 18-minute production of synchronized pyrotechnics and laser lights begins nightly at 8 p.m. Show up early to stake out the best vantage points along the Esplanade!

Kids Tractor Pull
Presented by Ag-Power.
Kiddos can join the fun and come test their tractor skills at Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pulls. Children age four to 12 can test out their tractor-driving abilities and compete to win prizes while the crowd cheers them on. Each vintage pedal tractor is weighted so the farther one pedals, the harder it is to reach the finish line. Kids compete to see who can pull the most weight. Shows at 12:30, 2, 3:30 and 5 p.m. in Ag-Power Plaza.

Pow Wow
The State Fair of Texas is thrilled to partner with the United Tribes of Texas to present a new addition to the 2015 lineup. This special event includes demonstrations of both traditional and contemporary Native American culture through music, dance, art and more. Members of several different Native American nations are in attendance, representing the unique traditions that are specific to their group, including performances from dancers dressed in full regalia. An expansive celebration of genuine Native American customs, this event is both educational and engaging for the whole family! Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Marine Corps Square.

Chevrolet Main Stage
Presented by Chevrolet.
With live music as one of its cornerstones, the State Fair of Texas presents 24 days of free concerts on the Chevrolet Main Stage, featuring a variety of musical acts across all genres. The stage showcases national and regional talent of all types, with all performances included in the price of admission. Today, up-and-coming recording artist Francesco Yates takes the Main Stage at 5:30 p.m.

Texas Garden Railway
A collection of large-gauge model trains chugs past familiar Texas Landmarks constructed from bark, leaves, sticks and other natural materials. The Errol McKoy Greenhouse on the Midway is home to this fairgoer favorite. Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
