Fairgoers are encouraged to visit the livestock barns and judging areas, but please be careful - these are working areas with live animals.

  • Milking Parlor Demos

    Big Tex's Farmyard

    Cows from nearby farms are brought to the State Fair for an entertaining and educational exhibit of modern milking procedures. Be sure to stop by for this unique demonstration!

  • Livestock 101 Stage

    Bull Alley

    Come see experts share about the animals in the barn. This daily talk show style presentation is tailor-made for the animals that fairgoers will experience when touring through the livestock barns. Guests are encouraged to ask questions, and then take a Guided Livestock Tour.

  • Dallas Police Department Mounted Unit

    Ranch Arena

    The Dallas Police Department Mounted Unit performs a series of maneuvers with their equine partners. In addition to demonstrating training techniques during the Fair, the Mounted Unit is housed in Fair Park year-round. Officers will also be there to meet and greet fairgoers and answer questions.

  • Budweiser Clydesdales

    Chevrolet Park Plaza

    The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales make their return to the State Fair.  The hitch team will make appearances the Starlight Parade and will be on display daily for guests to visit in the Horse Stables.
