    The annual Opening Day Parade will take place in Fair Park at noon and will incorporate popular elements of the downtown parade. Fairgoers can now enjoy Opening Day Parade during their visit to the fairgrounds, along with the daily Kroger Starlight Parade.

    The Opening Day Ceremony is a State Fair tradition that celebrates the first day of the annual event on the Hall of State Steps.
