Are there activities for kids and families?
Absolutely! The State Fair of Texas is packed with family-friendly fun for all ages. Families can enjoy live shows and entertainment, livestock and agriculture experiences, Creative Arts exhibits, the Kidway, daily parades, interactive activities, and more. Are Fair Park museums and attractions open during the Fair?
Yes! Several Fair Park museums and attractions are open during the State Fair of Texas, including the Children’s Aquarium Dallas, Texas Discovery Gardens, the African American Museum, and the Hall of State.
The African American Museum and Hall of State are FREE to visit with your State Fair admission. Hours, admission, and exhibits may vary by location, so we recommend visiting each organization’s website for the latest information and details about what’s happening during the 2026 Fair.
