Red, white & true to Texas

Texas has a lot of great wine, which is why the State Fair Wine Garden is giving you two ways to try the different varieties. Throughout all 24 days of the Fair, wines are sold by the taste, glass, and bottle.

The first way to try Lone Star wine is by visiting the winery tasting stations. The State Fair Wine Garden welcomes three different wineries each day. Wineries will showcase their featured wines and have representatives onsite to serve drinks and answer questions. See full winery schedule below.

The second way is through the GO TEXAN Blue Ribbon Wine Selection program. Twelve Blue Ribbon wines were selected blindly by a panel of sommeliers from the Texas Wine Advocates from a pool of more than 100 entries. The State Fair Wine Garden will feature all ribbon-winning wines throughout the 24 days of the Fair. The wines represent 11 different wineries and the best Texas has to offer, with a mix of reds, whites, and sparkling.
