Everything is bigger in Texas and the State Fair of Texas Auto Show is no exception.
Overflowing from two large exhibit halls, this show has been deemed the “Largest New Car Auto Show in the Southwest.” In addition to finding your next car, you’ll also have an opportunity to participate in interactive activities and displays.
Truck Zone
Enjoy the debut of some of the newest, fastest and biggest trucks on the market at the Auto Show’s outdoor Truck Zone. Filled with interactive activities and displays, the Truck Zone is the perfect destination for car lovers to stop by after the Texas heat fades for the evening.
Starlight Parade
A longtime State Fair tradition, the nightly Starlight Parade hosts a procession of more than 15 Texas-themed floats. The parade includes lively music, historic parade wagons, stilt walkers, animated characters in costume, and more. Begins nightly at 7:15 p.m.
Visit the State Fair Wine Garden
Exclusively offering wines made in the Lone Star State, the State Fair Wine Garden features three different wineries each day and provides a shaded area for fairgoers to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. On weekends you can enjoy performances from various local jazz and blues artists.
Enjoy a Show on the Chevrolet Main Stage
The State Fair of Texas presents 24 days of free concerts on the Chevrolet Main Stage, featuring a variety of musical acts across all genres. The stage showcases national and regional talent of all types, with evening performances from artists like The Beach Boys, Craig Wayne Boyd, Lecrae, Kelsea Ballerini, and Prophets and Outlaws.
Top o’ Texas Tower
Watch the sunset or take in a great view of the city’s night sky. Reaching 500 feet in the air, the Top o’ Texas Tower offers sweeping views of Dallas, rated the number one skyline internationally by USA Today.
Try Something Fried
It’s the State Fair of Texas – fried is implied. Plus, it’s after 5 p.m. so surely you’re hungry. Brave this year’s newest fried phenomenon or satisfy your appetite with something a bit more traditional, like a funnel cake.
