At the heart of the night is the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction and the students whose hard work and leadership make this tradition so meaningful. Through Saddle Up and the support of the Big Tex Champion Club — the Fair’s dedicated buyers community — more premiums can be placed on student projects while also supporting the Big Tex Scholarship Program, which has awarded more than $20 million in college scholarships to over 3,700 Texas students.
