The State Fair of Texas is home to many attractions, food, and most of all, family fun! Having a long day of Fair fun means needing a few quick breaks here and there, especially with a baby or toddler. The Fair has three baby care centers, which include changing tables, breastfeeding chairs, and an air-conditioned space for you and your little lone star to find a place to rest and relax away from the sights and sounds of the Fair. Whether you are needing a quick diaper change, feeding, or just time away from the hustle and bustle, the baby care centers are the perfect place to regroup. Find the baby care centers next to the Leonhardt Lagoon off First Avenue, right outside the swine barn near Fair Park Coliseum, and in the Guest Relations Midway Complex near the Top o’ Texas Tower and Neon Big Tex.
Have a little one ready to take their first Fair steps? The all-new Little Lone Stars Land is the perfect space for toddlers and young school children! This new area welcomes families of all sizes, with certain attractions catering towards our littlest Fair fans. Inside Little Lone Stars Land is The Coop, a dedicated kids’ play area, specially designed for toddlers and preschoolers, to roam, play, and explore. Families can also enjoy a variety of snacks, drinks, and sweet treats available throughout the area, along with rides, games, a petting zoo, and performance stage with fan-favorite acts, like Mighty Mike!
To commemorate your visit, make sure to stop by one of our Big Tex Stores around the grounds to find State Fair merchandise for the whole family! Infant and children’s items are available, including a “My First State Fair of Texas” onesie, making the perfect keepsake to remember the occasion.
