DESCRIPTION:Level up your future at NXT Fest\, presented by the State Fair of Texas and Fair Park. Activating the belief that students aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow\, they’re the leaders of today\, NXT Fest aims to empower high schoolers to build the future they want while addressing their current needs. Attendees will be able to meet with industry leaders and executives\, expand their financial knowledge at informative workshops\, gain job-readiness through exposure to potential employers\, and learn how to amplify their personal branding to figure out what comes next. Free food will be provided\, and all students will be given a backpack filled with school supplies and have the opportunity to receive uniforms from the clothing boutique. \nNXT Fest – a FREE\, one-day student conference offering networking opportunities\, educational resources\, and free food and school supplies. \nWHEN: Friday\, February 7 from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. \nWHERE: The Briscoe Carpenter Livestock Center in Fair Park – 1403 Washington Street\, Dallas\, Texas 75210. For parking and student drop-off\, enter through Gate 2\, located at the corner of Parry Avenue and Haskell Avenue. \nWHO: Targeting Southern Sector Dallas Independent School District (DISD) high school students. \nStudent and volunteer registration are required to attend.
