Presented by Cupcake Vineyards
Building opens at 10:00 a.m.
Kids Tractor Pull
Presented by Ag-Power.
Kiddos can join the fun and come test their tractor skills at Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pulls. Children age four to 12 can test out their tractor-driving abilities and compete to win prizes while the crowd cheers them on. Each vintage pedal tractor is weighted so the farther one pedals, the harder it is to reach the finish line. Kids compete to see who can pull the most weight. Shows at 12:30, 2, 3:30 and 5 p.m. in Ag-Power Plaza.
The sights, sounds and smells of the State Fair of Texas Midway after dark will stick with you for a lifetime. More than 70 rides light up the Fair with vibrant, moving colors. Joyous laughs and heart-pumping screams fill the evening air joining the faint sound of a Texas breeze. Fried food, popcorn, cotton candy and funnel cakes create a mouth-watering aroma as large stuffed-animals, excited children and happy couples all make their way through this “place to be” on a Texas fall night. Be sure you stop by and take it all in!
Presented by Pollo Tropical.
Amidst the blue ribbon winning contest entries displayed throughout the Creative Arts building lies an equally unique creation – the State Fair butter sculpture. Renowned sculptress Sharon BuMann returns to the Fair for the eighteenth year, impressing visitors with her ability to create a masterpiece entirely out of butter.
