Buildings open at 10 a.m.

1. Chevrolet Main Stage

   Presented by Chevrolet.

   With live music as one of its cornerstones, the State Fair of Texas presents 24 days of free concerts on the Chevrolet Main Stage, featuring a variety of musical acts across all genres. The stage showcases national and regional talent of all types, with all performances included in the price of admission. The Chevrolet Main Stage is an outdoor venue with a huge, festival-style stage and an ADA-compliant area for guests needing special assistance. Tonight, see regional favorite Prophets & Outlaws on the Main Stage at 5:30 & 8:30.

2. Backyard Circus

   Presented by Oak Farms Dairy.

   The Backyard Circus offers little ones the chance to dress up in costumes and take part in a show that features lion tamers, tight-rope walkers, ballerinas and a host of circus favorites. Shows at 1, 3, 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at Ag-Power Plaza.

3. Starlight Parade

   This after-dark extravaganza is a fan-favorite, featuring a colorful assortment of illuminated floats, life-size puppets, stilt-walking performers and animated characters in ornate costumes. The bold and bright procession glides through the park nightly at 7:15 p.m. Don’t leave the Fair without seeing this amazing spectacle!

4. Wine Garden

   Presented by the Texas Department of Agriculture.

   Exclusively offering wines crafted in the Lone Star State, the Texas Wine Garden features three different wineries each day and offers guests the choice of buying a small taste, a glass or a bottle. Serving as a scenic destination for fairgoers, the venue is centered around a massive oak tree, filled with beautiful flowers and mood lighting. On weekends visitors can experience the musical talents of local jazz and blues bands. As a special treat, winemakers have been known to hang out and chat with fairgoers from time to time, sharing their expertise on refining the palate. Wine Garden open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

5. Mattress Firm Illumination Sensation

   Presented by Mattress Firm.

   Experience the nightly celebration – completely remastered! Set along a scenic reflecting pool, Mattress Firm Illumination Sensation wows the crowd with dancing waters and liquid fire. A unique and breathtaking event, the show combines fireworks and high-energy pop music with engaging performances from dancers and acrobats. This sensational 18-minute production of synchronized pyrotechnics and laser lights begins nightly at 8 p.m. Show up early to stake out the best vantage points along the Esplanade!
