Bacon Wrapped Smokies

1 lb. bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14-oz.) pkg. cocktail wieners
3/4 c. brown sugar
Preheat oven to 325º. Refrigerate bacon until needed. It is easier to wrap wieners with cold bacon. Wrap each cocktail wiener with piece of bacon and secure with toothpick. Place on large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all. Bake for 40 minutes in preheated oven until sugar is bubbly.
Serve warm for best flavor.
