Sure the State Fair of Texas is the Fried Food Capital of Texas® and we just finished crowning the Big Tex Choice Awards winners. But the Fair is a celebration of all types of Texas food and wine. It is 24 days of Texas chefs, Texas wine and craft beer, and Texas-based food companies. When you come to the Fair this year, add one of these activities to your Fair Food checklist.

Texas Wine Garden
If you want to sample some Texas wine and craft beer while you’re at the Fair, be sure to visit the Texas Wine Garden. Each day there are three to four different wineries featured at this relaxing venue. Samples can be purchased by the taste, glass or bottle. In addition, flights of Texas craft beer are available.
Food and Fiber Pavilion
The Food and Fiber Pavilion is definitely a celebration of all things Texans. Coordinated by the Texas Department of Agriculture, the building is filled with GO TEXAN products. You can sample and purchase Texas products and even learn a thing or two about Texas agriculture.State Fair Daily Schedules
